Grand Traverse Resort guests that have been fully vaccinated are NO LONGER required to wear a mask during their visit.

If you have NOT been fully vaccinated, you will be required to wear a mask on the Grand Traverse Resort property (other than in your hotel room).

Please bring your own mask with you to the conference.

Grand Traverse Resort employees are currently wearing masks for their protection and that of their guest and fellow co-workers.

CMHA and the Grand Traverse Resort will be following all current guidelines from MDHHS, CDC and Safe Meetings in Michigan.   We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will continue to update our conference status as mandated by local, state, and federal government agencies. The Grand Traverse Resort On-site Safety Practices can be found By Clicking Here!  Housekeeping and cleanliness are always among the top priorities at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. While they are dealing with COVID-19 they have stepped up their already high cleaning standards to better protect their guests and staff. Additional cleaning measures include:

  • Providing extra hand sanitizer stations throughout the Resort.
  • Clorox 360 electrostatic sprayer is being used regularly in public areas.
  • Increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, Hotel and Condos with a focus on high-touch areas.
  • Daily training and updates to staff regarding housekeeping procedures and hygiene protocols.
  • In an effort to respect your space, and to keep you and their team safe, they will not be providing housekeeping service for the duration of your stay. Should you need additional towels or other amenities, please call the front desk and they will be happy to deliver the items and place them outside your door.

Health Screening Waiver:

All conference attendees, presenters and exhibitors will be required to submit a health questionnaire during the in-person registration. You will be asked to self-monitor and quarantine if you begin feeling symptoms not related to other conditions. If you begin feeling symptoms at any point prior to or during the conference, please stay in your room and notify CMHA immediately. You must sign a waiver at registration agreeing to all safety requirements put in place by both CMHA and the Grand Traverse Resort. If you are not able to comply with the requirements, we respectfully ask you to join virtually.

Stay Home When Appropriate

You should stay home rather than attend the CMHA Fall annual conference in-person if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19. Please notify if you cannot attend the conference in-person due to COVID-19. CMHA will update your registration to allow virtual participation or provide a partial refund of your conference registration fee if you are also unable to participate virtually.
