Community Living Services, Inc. (CLS), a non-profit located in Wayne, MI is seeking a Supports Coordinator Manager to serve as a trainer, supervisor, mentor, and advocate for a team of Supports Coordinators providing supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. The essential function of the position is to facilitate the effective and efficient planning and implementation of the principles of Person-Centered Planning and Self-Determination, the Michigan Mental Health Code, Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requirements, Self-Directed Services Technical Advisory, CLS guiding principles, code of ethics and professional code of ethics. Candidates must minimally possess a Master’s degree in a Human Services field and limited master’s social work license (LLMSW). One year experience working with persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities is required and may include a qualified field practicum. Must meet credentialing requirements as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP). If supporting children, must minimally meet licensure requirements for credentialing as QIDP and Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP). Candidates interested in the Supports Coordinator Manager position must also minimally have 3 years experience in case management focused work in the social work field. Previous supervisory experience preferred. If no previous, targeted experience as a Supports Coordinator Manager, must minimally complete three-month orientation and training as a Supports Coordinator Manager in Training. This position requires frequent travel throughout Wayne County. Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and access to reliable transportation.
