SUD INITIATIVES ADMINISTRATOR
JOB DETAILS:
Under the general supervision of the Director of SUD Initiatives, the SUD Initiatives Administrator provides oversight, management and coordination for all activities within the SUD Initiatives Department. This position is also responsible for the overall design and implementation of the SUD Complex Case Management Program.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides oversight, management and coordination for all activities within the SUD Initiatives Department
Oversee the design and ongoing implementation of the SUD Complex Case Management Program
Aligns clinical practice models to evidence-based, best or promising practices
Monitors Performance Indicators, Recidivism, and level of care appropriateness
Convenes collaborative workgroups to resolve implementation issues and/or barriers
Analyzes the service delivery system and makes recommendations to DWIHN regarding service needs
Reviews the budget and funding stream and makes recommendations for Board Actions
Develops and maintains working relationships with primary and specialty care providers including Emergency Departments, Community Mental Health Service Providers, and inpatient facilities
Provides training and technical assistance
Represents DWIHN at other forums assigned by the Director of SUD Initiatives or their designee
Supervises program and support staff as assigned
Develops and monitors productivity and efficiency standards
Prepare appropriate reports on clinical practices and activities including providing corrective action plans for noted deficiencies
Participates in audits and reviews, including HSAG and NCQA standards
Trouble-shoots and reduces BHTEDS issues and errors
Coordinates, leads and manages program reviews / site visits
Participates in meetings and committees assigned
Performs additional related duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Nursing (a Bachelor’s Degree will be accepted), Human Services, the Social Services or a related field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years of professional experience as a supervisor, manager, project manager or performing academic research in a human service or social service field.
AND
At least two (2) years of professional experience training staff in clinical services.
REQUIRED LICENSE(S):
A Valid State of Michigan clinical licensure: RN, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, LLP or PhD.
CAADC, CADC or CCS certification preferred.
