$1,000 signing bonus offered to the successful candidate! Multiple shifts available (casual, 3rd, and 4PM – 2AM) Social work positions available for completing telephonic or in-person clinical screenings and/or brief assessments of children, adolescents, adults, and families requesting behavioral health services. Makes determination of appropriate level of care and eligibility for referrals to the public behavioral health system, which may include acute care services, specialty mental health services, substance use disorder services, or diversion to alternative non-specialty mental health services.

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with current Michigan Social Work license required. Prefer a minimum of two years of experience in the behavioral health field providing services to children/adolescents and/or two years of experience working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must be proficient in the use of technology and possess a high level of customer service skills/phone etiquette. Prior experience completing mental health evaluations and an understanding of clinical diagnoses based on the current DSM V is required. Familiarity with managed care philosophy, systems and procedures is preferred. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
