Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems (TBHS) has been providing services within Tuscola County since 1974. As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disorders.

– This job is located in Caro, Michigan.
– Full-time position – 40 hours/wk. (after hours on-call availability)
– Salary Range: $22.40 – $29.62 per hour

Requirements:

– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Minimum of four years’ experience working with priority service populations required.
– Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance are required.

Responsibilities:

– Responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations of a specialized residential group home directly operated by TBHS.
– Provides direct supervision of staff members, ensuring adherence to established standards of care in addition to other administrative and managerial tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, record keeping and compliance activities.
– Ensures the successful implementation of person-centered planning to support resident goal attainment.
– Collaborates with other professionals and/or natural supports to promote optimal outcomes and ensure compliance with applicable AFC licensing rules and regulatory requirements.
– Provides consultation to residential staff as needed, both during and after business hours.
– Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery-based practices.
