Would you like to be a valuable member of a diversity driven, mission-minded team that impacts our community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work part time as a Peer Recovery and Outreach Coach with the Opioid Response Overdose Team.
What You Will Be Doing As a Peer Recovery and Outreach Coach on our Opioid Response Overdose Team you will see individuals in local ER’s and community settings, helping to link individuals with treatment and community services. You will provide 24/7 coverage to the Kalamazoo community and will work together with a patient navigator to track and provide follow up services to individuals in this community who have experienced an overdose or a substance related crisis. A knowledge of the social service system in Kalamazoo and a willingness to be part of a culturally responsive team based approach to care are necessary for this job. This is a grant funded position through 9/30/21.
