Wage: $27.49 hrly rate, which equals to $57,181.68 annual salary. Comprehensive benefits package

Additional Compensation: $6,000 Bonus, $10% Premium pay, $2 Shift Differential on each hour worked, $100 on-call pay.

Mobile Crisis Response Clinician

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.

We are seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician to provide crisis intervention services as a part of a co-response team in partnership with the Grand Rapids Police Department. This role is paired with a Grand Rapids police officer to respond to calls for service that may relate to mental health and substance abuse disorders. This is a community-based team that serves individuals of all ages.

This position works 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts OR 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts. Working hours would be starting at either 5:30 pm OR 6:30 pm. On-call, Holidays and weekends work are not mandatory but may be worked for overtime pay.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, Counseling or Counseling Psychology
Limited or full licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist, OR be eligible for a limited license (LLMSW, LLC, LLPC, TLLP, LLP, LLMFT) as stated above and obtain that licensure within 3 months of hire.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis
Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills
Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
Available for on-call services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (on a rotating basis)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Full Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist
One year of experience in community-based crisis intervention
Specialized training and at least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families
Spanish speaking
Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals
Three years post graduate experience
