Additional Compensation: $10% Premium Pay; Weekend: $2 shift differential per hour worked.

Mobile Crisis Response BSW

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.

We are seeking a Mobile Crisis Response BSW to provide intervention services as a member of a community-based crisis response team serving clients and families in Kent County. Network180 will cover the cost of obtaining the State of Michigan BSW limited license.

The position is scheduled ONE weekend a month, 10 hrs a day, Saturday and Sunday, 7 am to 5 pm.

Network180 has made the safety of our employees a priority. We provide Personal Protection Equipment to our employees and thorough safety and cleaning protocols are in place. Job interviews are being conducted via the internet or in-person.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Licensed in the State of Michigan as a licensed or limited licensed bachelor’s social worker OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within 3 months of hire.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment
Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills
Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
Available for on-call services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (on a rotating basis)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
Full Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed bachelor’s social worker
One year experience in community-based crisis intervention
Three years post undergraduate experience
Spanish speaking
