AuSable Valley Community Mental Health Authority is seeking an experienced Master’s level clinician to conduct Home Based services to families with children who have been diagnosed with severe emotional disturbance and/or I/DD. The position services consumers located in Iosco, Ogemaw and Oscoda counties with a home base located in the city of West Branch (Ogemaw County). Must have strong organizational and time management skills and successfully complete in-house Emergency Services training leading to work in the after-hours on-call system.
Credentials: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required. A minimum of two years post-graduate experience in professional practice.
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel throughout the Board’s coverage area and, at times, around different areas of the state. Possession of a driver’s license valid in the State of Michigan, vehicle insurance as required by Michigan Law, and a good driving record; be a U.S. Citizen or have possession of necessary papers allowing holder to work legally within the United States.

A Pre-Employment Background will be conducted in the following areas: Criminal (Both State and Federal Finger Printing), Driving, Educational and Employment record verifications/inquiries.
