QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. A minimum of two years’ healthcare reporting and/or financial analysis experience required. Expertise in data collection, management and analysis is required. Expertise with T-SQL and Power BI is desirable. Experience with healthcare, Medicaid and regulator or health policy, coordinated or integrated care and medical management are also desirable. Experience in the creation of metrics reports or dashboards and report writing related to health care clinical data. Excellent computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must possess strong communication skills and a commitment to collaboration among varying entities.
STATUS/HOURS: Competitive Wage, plus full-time benefits. Regular full-time/80 hours biweekly
SALARY RANGE: $52,336.34 to $70,951.09. Starting salary will be determined based on education, experience, and certification(s).

NorthCare Network is a Specialty Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) located in Marquette, Michigan and is responsible for the management and service array available to residents of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with behavioral health needs covered by Michigan Medicaid and specialty grants for substance use disorder services.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Under the Supervision of the Chief Information Officer, this position is responsible for maintaining multiple quality-related databases and associated decision support tools by extracting complex data elements from consumer medical records and internal/external data sources related to organizational and national quality measures to assist management in performance of improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance. Responsible for analyzing and reporting extracted data, thereby contributing to the achievement of quality and clinical effectiveness initiatives for the consumer. Responsible for building, producing, and maintaining reports of abstracted data using a variety of software programs. Transmit report content to dashboards as well as support and maintain all necessary processes to extract, transform and load information into database, analytics and business intelligences tools/systems. This position will provide technical assistance to quality, clinical and administrative staff in interpreting and using reports and dashboards.
