Clinical Supervisor – Supports Coordination

Services To Enhance Potential (STEP) is a non-profit organization that provides support and services to nearly 1,300 persons with disabilities and other mental health needs in Macomb, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties. A major goal of Services To Enhance Potential is to increase the number of persons who are employed, self-employed, and volunteer in their communities. We were founded in 1972 to bring an employment focus to individuals with a disability and have developed a strong reputation in the community for doing so.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our Supports Coordination team and be a part helping the individuals we serve achieve greater independence and satisfaction in their lives. This position is responsible for overseeing the provision of services and supports in alignment with Michigan Mental Health Code requirements, regulatory standards, and the unique needs of individuals receiving services. The ideal candidate will ensure that services are continuously monitored and delivered at a quality level that reflects best practice guidelines and supports the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and coordinate the delivery of mental health and developmental disability services.

· Monitor service provision to ensure compliance with the Mental Health Code and other regulatory requirements.

· Evaluate and improve service quality to align with best practice standards.

· Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated and person-centered care.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize care outcomes.

· Provide training, guidance, and supervision as needed.

Qualifications:

· Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (required).

· Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in human services related to mental health, developmental, or other disability services.

· At least one (1) year of management or supervisory experience in a human services setting.

· Strong knowledge of Mental Health Code regulations and best practice standards.

· Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with case management systems and electronic health records (EHR).

· Crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.

· Familiarity with community resources and support systems.
