Taylor Life Center (TLC) is seeking a passionate and devoted LMSW, LPC, or LMFT licensed in the state of Michigan in a new office! TLC’s Care Monitor is responsible for the following roles and responsibilities:

Provide operational and/or clinical supervision of case managers, therapists, and/or all other personnel assigned.
Conduct interviews for clinical and administrative staff.
Communicate areas of accountability and performance expected of personnel assigned.
Determine standards of performance as a basis to review the progress of personnel assigned; includes transfers, progressive discipline, and dismissals.
Education/Training knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups.
Train new staff in areas of departmental procedures, agency policy, and government or agency regulations
Assist Human Resources to ensure all staff are up to date with CMH and corporate trainings and assist with acquiring all required employment documentation, which could include vital credentialing paperwork.
Coordinate administrative activities of departments related to providing services, productivity, and/or monitor compliance with the clinician’s unit utilization/authorization.
Actively participate in personnel, monitor, community, and payer meetings as needed.
Monitor compliance with the therapy contract as needed.
Monitor treatment plans and treatment goals.
Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process(es).
Coordinate services with other treatment team members.
Monitor compliance with the clinician’s unit utilization/authorization.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
18 years of age or older
Possess a valid driver’s license
Pass all regulatory checks
Possess at a minimum a master’s degree
Must be licensed by the state of Michigan with an LMSW, LPC, or LMFT
Must maintain required training for credentialing for both privileges and third party insurances
Ability to acknowledge diagnoses per symptomatology and/or DSM 5
