Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems (TBHS) has been providing services within Tuscola County since 1974. As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disorders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Full or limited Michigan licensure (LMSW or LLMSW) as a Master’s social worker preferred; Consideration will be given to LPC candidates. CAADC preferred. Minimum of one year experience in providing services to adults with a mental illness. Strong collaboration / coordination / advocacy skills desirable. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance are required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as part of team providing a therapeutic set of intensive clinical, medical, and psychosocial services that includes case management, psychiatric services, counseling/psychotherapy, housing support, substance use disorder treatment, and employment and rehabilitative services in community settings. These services and supports are designed to promote growth in recovery. IDDT/DBT knowledge/training is desirable. Position requires travel (agency vehicle available) and periodic after hours on-call availability. Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery based practices.

POSITION TYPE:
Full Time, Hourly

RATE OF PAY:
$28.42 – $36.44 – based on licensure status (limited vs. full licensure)

$10,000.00 sign-on bonus available (If eligible, first payment at 6 months; second payment at 12 months)
