This podcast was conducted at the CMHA Annual Winter Conference held on February 2nd, 2026 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo, MI.

Ashley Denaway was a presenter at the 2026 CMHA Annual Winter Conference. Her presentation was titled “Trauma-Informed Justice Reform: Practical Tools for Professionals”. In her interview she shares her personal life experiences that sparked her burning desire to let children know they are seen; they are good enough; and they will be met where they are. Ashley is the founder and Executive Director of Pivot Point Youth Collaborative. Her compelling story is one of perseverance, and passion. Ashley’s voice is full of energy, is motivating, and calls each of us to wrap our youth in understanding and love.
