Responsibilities: Under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the direction and administration of the Integrated Treatment & Recovery Services programs, which include; substance use disorders treatment; Emergency Services unit in local county jails and the Health Care Integration program in collaboration with local federally qualified health clinics and other primary care settings. Collaboratively with other programs and the Medical Director, assesses community needs, plans services and develops and evaluates all components of the programs, including, but not limited to: residential treatment, withdrawal management, outpatient and re-entry services, emergency services and mental health therapy programming in regional county jails, and behavioral health consultation in several community health clinics. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the office in such a manner that fulfills CMHA’s mission, policies and procedures.

Requirements: Possession of a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Public Health Administration, Psychology, or related field required. Applicable State of Michigan credential required (E.g.: LMSW, LPC, LP, etc.). A minimum of five years of professional experience in development and administration of treatment service programs in the mental health and/or substance use disorder field required. At least three years’ work experience in positions which provided for a project-based leadership role or in a progressively more responsible position is required. Must be a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). A Certified Clinical Supervisor-M (CCS-M) certification is desired, but if not held, the employee will enroll in a CCS development plan with MCBAP and must become certified within a maximum of 1 year from date of hire or change in regulation. A minimum of three years at a senior administrative level required. Must have demonstrated leadership, public speaking, and verbal and written communication skills. Experience with budget and financial management required. Must have good clinical knowledge and commitment to the population.

Conditional Employment Requirements: Employment offers for this position will be contingent upon the results a background verification and credentialing procedure consisting of: Michigan State Police clearance check, verification of a professional license, Medicaid/Medicare verification, educational background check and verification of an acceptable work history. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Salary/Hours: Salary commensurate with education and experience. 40 hours per week. Flexible work schedule, including evening meetings.
