Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems (TBHS) has been providing services within Tuscola County since 1974. As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disorders.

*This job is located in Caro, Michigan.
**Full-time position – 40 hours/wk. (after hours on-call availability)
***Salary Range: $34.34 – $40.67 per hour
****$10,000.00 sign-on bonus available (If eligible, first payment at 6 months; second payment at 12 months)

– TBHS qualifies for the Student Loan Forgiveness through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

Requirements:
– Full Michigan licensure as a Master’s social worker preferred; consideration will be given to LPC candidates.
– A minimum of three years post-degree clinical experience in treating or working with adults with serious mental illness is required.
– Previous supervisory experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
– Must meet Mental Health Professional qualifications as defined in the Medicaid Provider Manual.
– Must possess substance use certification or be eligible to obtain certification.
– Must be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written form.
– Willingness to work flexible hours is desirable.
– Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance are required.

Responsibilities:
– Responsible for providing leadership, supervision, and clinical oversight to ACT, DBT, and IDDT programs and staff.
– Responsible for all day-to-day operational tasks, as well as planning, evaluating, and implementing program revisions as needed.
– Performs a variety of program level administrative and managerial tasks, including budget oversight, human resource responsibilities, utilization management/performance improvement tasks, and compliance activities.
– Provides direct services to individuals receiving services as needed.
– Provides emergency services during and after regular office hours and provides assistance and consultation to ACT on-call staff after hours as necessary.
– Position requires travel (agency vehicle available).
– Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery-based practices.
