Additional Compensation: $5,000 Bonus, $100 per day each on-call rotation

Access Center Clinical Manager

We are the public community behavioral health organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse disorder, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.

We are seeking an Access Center Clinical Manager to provide clinical leadership and expertise, supervise assigned staff, and provide consultation to clinicians and providers to assure appropriate levels of care and access to necessary services. To ensure access to Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Disability and Access Line services. This position will supervise and manage the Crisis Stabilization therapy teams for adults and children within the Access Center. Crisis Stabilization Therapy is a short term, intensive, 30-day therapy program that diverts individuals from a high level of care.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. This position requires participation in the on-call manager rotation schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Counseling or Counseling Psychology
Fully Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Master Social Worker (LMSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Psychologist (LP)
Two years’ post master’s degree progressive experience in the Behavioral Health field
Knowledge of crisis intervention and treatment methodology
Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
Computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office programs and telehealth

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Fully Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred
MCBAP, CAADC certification preferred
Two years’ supervisory experience preferred
Two years minimum of outpatient therapy preferred
Knowledge and practice of DBT, CBT
Knowledge and work in an CMH Access Center
Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
