The access care manager is responsible for ensuring that service requests from prospective clients and other stakeholders are assessed, with resultant disposition, and within required time frames. The intent is to ensure that access to mental health and substance abuse services is done quickly and in a user-friendly manner, with practical assistance and information provided along the way. Services may be provided on a routine, urgent, or emergent basis, with short term crisis stabilization services provided as needed. To provide emergency service and follow-up.
