Systems Development includes the development, planning, implementation, and monitoring of high-quality services for clinical, prevention and community advancements. The Trauma Informed Care Specialist will provide ongoing support in developing agency goals toward trauma informed care to assure practices of all CWN staff reflect a true understanding and practice using trauma focused practices, interventions and treatment. Additionally, the Trauma Informed Care Specialist will provide training, research, direction, support, coaching, and leadership in all trauma initiatives with CWN and community partners. Additionally, they will provide consultation, information and research to teams and community groups needing assessments and/or assistance in implementing practices using trauma focused or trauma informed practices. The Specialist will work with all staff, organizations, children and with mild/moderate or serious emotional disturbances or illness, and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities and their support systems including family support, school, court and community supports.

The Trauma Specialist champions the practice transformation to trauma informed care and develops and maintains a working relationship with community members and specialty services for clients, staff and partners.
