Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems (TBHS) has been providing services within Tuscola County since 1974. As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/development disorders.
*This opening is located in Caro, Michigan.
**Full-time position; 40 hours/wk. (Monday-Friday) Willingness to work flexible hours is desirable. After hours on-call availability.
***Pay: $34.34 – $40.67 per hour

Requirements:
– Full Michigan licensure as a Master’s Social Worker or Professional Counselor required
– Minimum of three years of clinical experience providing services to children required
– Must be designated as a Qualified Mental Health Professional as well as a Child Mental Health Professional, or be eligible for such designation
– Previous supervisory experience in a mental health setting is preferred
– Must be able to effectively communicate in verbal and written form
-Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance are required.
Responsibilities:
– Responsible for providing supervision to staff and cases served by the TBHS Children’s Services Department (Home-Based, Case Management, and Infant Mental Health Services).
– Provides supervision, support and monitoring of various evidence-based practices involving service provision to children/families.
– Responsible for all day-to-day operational tasks, as well as planning, evaluation, and implementation of program revisions as necessary.
– Performs a variety of administrative and managerial tasks including budget oversight, human resource responsibilities, program-level utilization management tasks, and compliance activities.
– Provides oversight and guidance to the Children’s Mobile Crisis program.
– Demonstrates knowledge of, and actively supports culturally competent, recovery-based practices.
