Registration Specialist

We are the community behavioral health organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.
We are seeking a Registration Specialist to provide registration for individuals who seek services through Network180 and support functions for contracted providers. Verify Medicaid, Medicare and commercial insurance benefits and document appropriate funding and demographic information in the electronic medical record.
This position is Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm OR 8 am to 4:30 pm. No weekends or Holidays. A flexible hybrid working arrangement is available for this position. The employee may perform work from a home office or work site during regular business hours.
Network180 has made the safety of our employees a priority. We provide Personal Protection Equipment to our employees and thorough safety and cleaning protocols are in place. Job interviews are being conducted via the internet or in person.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years’ experience with insurance verification/billing and data entry of complex and detailed information
Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, email, and data entry skills with emphasis on accuracy and speed
Experience in customer service
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent problem- solving techniques
Detail oriented and strong critical thinking skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience interacting with DD, MI, and SUD populations preferred
Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
