If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Program Coordinator – Quality Management!
What You Will Be Doing
Working full time (40hrs/wk) as a Program Coordinator – Quality Management, you will be part of a dynamic and diverse team of reviewers for Integrated Services of Kalamazoo’s (ISK) direct operated services and its wide array of contract provider networks/agencies who perform comprehensive quality management reviews and system improvement projects. The reviews include claims and clinical records, organizational practices, and financial reviews. You will participate in our Quality Monitoring Review (QMR) process, including completing reviews, monitoring tool and scoring descriptor revisions, QMR trainings, and completion and tracking of QMR reports. Function may also include other general quality management task and projects as assigned.
What We Require
You will have a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Human Services or related field and five years’ experience in the related area. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with extensive (8+ years) and directly related experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. A Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) certification is preferred but not required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administration is required. Knowledgeable in reviewing General Ledger and Financial Status Reports is a plus. Experience in a Community Mental Health setting and/or contracting preferred. Lived experiences with behavioral health issues are desired. Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, database management and e-mail. Required License: Valid Michigan Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Physical Efforts – Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate. May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot.
Working Conditions – Office environment with noise from computers, copy machine, and telephones. Use of computer screen for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time. Possible eyestrain from extended periods of viewing computer screen. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites. Travel throughout the Kalamazoo area is required.
