AuSable Valley Community Mental Health Authority is looking for an Outpatient Clinical Supervisor. The Outpatient Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supervising outpatient clinical staff and services delivery in designated county: primarily in Ogemaw and Oscoda Counties. Ensures the documentation compliance of staff and adherence to AVCMHA policies and procedures. Responsibilities include collaboration with community referral sources and interagency colleagues, crisis intervention, emergency on-call participation, and the fidelity of evidence-based practices. The Outpatient clinical supervisor carries a clinical caseload The Outpatient clinical supervisor must exercise attention to detail, effectively manage time, have strong written and oral communication skills, as well as advanced organizational skills. Candidates must have an understanding of Medicaid guidelines, DSM criteria, and therapeutic interventions. Credentials: Minimum qualifications for this position is a Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Psychology or other human services field with the approval of the Executive Director. A minimum of two years post graduate experience in professional practice. Experience in supervision and experience in providing counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention is preferred. Must provide a copy of college transcripts indicating proof of receiving degree.

Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel throughout the Board’s coverage area and, at times, around different areas of the state. Possession of a driver’s license valid in the State of Michigan, vehicle insurance as required by Michigan Law, and a good driving record; be a U.S. Citizen or have possession of necessary papers allowing holder to work legally within the United States.

A Pre-Employment Background Check will be conducted in the following areas: Criminal (Both State and Federal Finger Printing), Driving, Educational and Employment record verifications/inquiries.
