Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Medical Director, CMHA-CEI, coordinates the services of an Interdisciplinary Team of mental health professionals, paraprofessionals and support staff (nurses, psychiatrists, clerical staff, etc.) within the Medication Clinic. This program serves adults and children with developmental disabilities, and adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: clinical and administrative supervision of staff, some direct services to consumers, consultation and participation in program planning, budget monitoring and staff hiring. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.

Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing required. Three (3) years of work experience with individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. At least one (1) year of work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position. Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required. Must be familiar with computers. Must be physically able to access CMHA-CEI & Community Facilities. Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use required. May be required to participate in a management 24-hour on call system, may include holidays and weekends.
