The Ten16 Recovery Network is a substance-use disorder agency serving a ten-county area throughout Central Michigan. We are driven by a passion to make a difference in the lives of those we serve by helping people live fully, free from relying on alcohol and other drugs.
We are actively searching for the right person for our Director of Residential Services. This position manages the staff and clients of a twenty-bed residential treatment facility in Midland County. This is a full-time position with benefits and located in Midland, MI.

Position Title: Director of Residential Services

Purpose: Responsible for the operational management of the residential program to ensure quality care and integrated, collaborative service.

Principal Responsibilities:
•Provide leadership of the residential team; fostering service excellence, program growth, staff development and the financial viability of residential services.
•Work with other Ten16 program leaders to establish essential clinical standards and competencies for the agency; consistent with the agency’s treatment philosophy.
•Works to establish program goals and objectives; guidelines, policies and procedures; and develops schedules, priorities and standards for achieving program goals.
•Research evidence-based programming to ensure best practices; works collaboratively with clinical team to design program and implement program enhancements that will equip the client for a self-propelled recovery.
•Provides leadership and coordination of personnel and resources in the execution of the day-to-day program activities
•Provide clinical supervision/direction to the detox and residential programs; facilitate regular clinical team meetings, case review, and supervision.
•In conjunction with the Medical Director, develop, implement and monitor clinical/medication policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
•Oversee the systems and processes to maintain effective clinical records within the electronic medical record.
•Ensure programmatic compliance to corporate policies, state licensing, CARF accreditation, and PIHP provider requirements.
•Oversee the evaluation process of program to ensure quality services and the achievement of established performance indicators; use data to drive change in service delivery effectiveness and the client experience.

Preparation, Experience and Skills:
•Master’s degree (required) in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology with appropriate licensure and 5-7 yrs of related experience
•CADC/CAADC required or secured within 3 years of employment.
•CCS (Certified Clinical Supervisor) or secured within 2 years of employment.
•Demonstrated commitment to abstinence-based and recovery-oriented treatment, including a strong working knowledge of the 12-Step process and the integration of recovery supports in the treatment process.
•Consistently model organization’s core values and program philosophy; developing those values within team.
•Demonstrated servant-leadership style that promotes positive teamwork; maintain productive, positive relationships with staff.
