Event Details |
Facilitation Skills for Working with Youth Groups participants will assist participants in strengthening their facilitation/meeting skills to implement their youth led program successfully. Participants will obtain strategies for overcoming barriers and challenges they face in managing the classroom and facilitating their youth led prevention programming. |

Oliver Reed is a National Master Trainer for SheRay’s & Associate LLC and T.T.J Group L.L.C, training organizations and institutions on best practices as it relates to prevention services, while collaborating with organizations to assist disadvantage African American communities that are financially challenges. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Prevention and Intervention Works Incorporate and Liquid R & B Inc. and (LRB Consulting Group). Mr Reed also works with various federal, state and local agencies and institutions partnering to incorporate evidence-based strategies to provide prevention services surrounding Violence and Gangs, HIV/AIDS, Opioids, Marijuana

CEUs | CMHA is approved by Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP). CMHA maintains the responsibility for the program and content. Substance Abuse Professionals participating in this training may receive a maximum of 2 Related Contact Hours. Some "Related" workshops may meet MCBAP/IC&RC educational requirements for focused topics in addiction certification domains, such as for Peer Recovery or Supervisor credentials. It is important that attendees keep a copy of the conference program brochure containing the workshop description. Qualifies as “in-person education”. |
Cancellation Policy |
Substitutions are permitted 3 business days prior to the training. No-shows will be billed at the full training rate. Cancellations must be received in writing at least 10 business days prior to the training for a full refund less a $5 administrative fee. If cancellation is received less than 10 business days prior to the training, no refund will be given. Refunds will be issued within 90 days of the training |
