Traveling Art Show VII

  • Local CMHs hold art contests.  Once winners are determined, that artwork will become part of the CMHA Traveling Art Show.
  • Features pieces from Consumer Art Contests across Michigan.
  • Anyone interested in any of the pieces shown may contact Monique at mfrancis@cmham.org.  Those NOT sold by October 1, 2023, will be auctioned off at the 2023 Fall Conference in Traverse City, Michigan.
  • Art may be available for viewing locally or virtually.  Check with your local CMH for more information or email Monique at mfrancis@cmham.org.  Click HERE to see the schedule of local art shows during 2022 and 2023.

The Public Relations Workgroup representatives hold consumer art contests in their area during the Winter and Spring of every odd year.  Winners are selected and Community Mental Health Association of Michigan purchases those winning pieces to tour the State at local Community Mental Health agencies, services providers and Art Galleries for a two year period.  At the end of that two year period, any art that was not purchased during its tour is put up for auction at the Fall Conference in Traverse City.
